18th Feburary High jump
We learned how to do the Fosbury flop. To do the Fosbury flop you run at an angle at a high jump mat and jump off 1 leg turn around then put your arms and legs in the air and land on your back.
Thats how to do the Fosbury flop.
21st Feburary long jump
We did long jump today. I ran 3 times and my high score was 2.85m
How to do long jump.
1 Run up is 21 steps.
2 Take off will be from the second marker.
3 Land will be measured from the back foot.
4 Land with both feet together.
5 If you are over the second marker when you jump it is a fowl jump.
25th Feburary 100m sprints.
Sprints are pretty simple. Sprint from a starting point time it and your time is when you ran over the finish line.
3rd March long distance results.
When doing long distance one thing to really remeber is to breath and look up not down. Also run past the finish so you keep your momentum and sprint the last bit. My time for 1500m was 3 minutes 51 seconds.
