Ki O Rahi playing rules

In Ki o rahi two teams are formed. 1 team is called Kioma the other team is Taniwha.
The Kioma has the goal of touching poles/pou with a ball/ki.
Taniwha have the goal of hitting the tupu/bin in the middle of the play area.

The field is 3 circles they are named Te Roto, Te Ao and Pawero.
Te Roto is the circle that Taniwha enter with the ball/ki to hit the bin/tupu Kioma can't enter here.
Te Ao is the circle surrounded by pou. Kioma hit these poles then score in Pawero.
Pawero is the center circle. Kioma once hitting the pou place it down there.
Kioma also protect the bin/tupu in this circle with Kaitiaki/guard.

When the game starts a team grab the ball if touched 2 times before accomplishing their goal
it is a hand over. 3 Taniwha can be in Te Ao at a time.

There is one last circle called Te Marama that is where the ball is started.
From Te Marama the ball/ki is kicked thrown whatever into the playing field.

When Kioma scores the ball/ki goes back to Te Marama when Taniwha hit the tupu the game continues.
