Me and my group had to teach bench ball to two other classes. We started with a warm up which was to do 20 high knees, 20 widths of the gym and 40 star jumps. We did that for 5 minutes and then did some drills. We had two planed but only did one, that one was sneak up on granny. We did this because we needed to practice stopping randomly as you can't move with the ball.
We had the years 7's in two classes (Bh and Tz) play each other and the years 8's from the same class play each other. The winner of the year 7 game was Tz and the winner of the year 8 was Bh.
We then played a massive game of years 7's vs year 8's. It lasted about half an hour but in the end the years 8's won.
For the maths we were looking after sports field's. We had to paint the outline of each pitch. each pitch was 1/4 of the field so we had 4 pitch's. We learnt how to get a perimteter of a pitch (rectangle) and that you can't buyhalf a bucket of paint. I found this easy although it was very annoying to do as we had to show how we did it.
We used strategies like multiplocation and addition. We had to do a lot of addition to get each answer.
When teaching I demonstrated leadership and effective communication by asking for everyone attetion we they needed it and by running the warm up. I worked sucessfully with my team and we did an amazing job or at least I think.
