Textiles Sustainablity

Reefton

During the holidays me and my family went to a small place called Reefton. My favourite thing there was the pies. The pies were loaded with steak and cheese. I went on walks in the morning wiht my grandfather and then we went uptown for breakfast. The walk we went on had swing bridge and we walked by and old power station. Although when we were at the motel we were staying at there wasn't much to do. I played pool from 11 o'clock to about 2 pm most of the time to kill some time. I bought a lot of ornaments at Reefton as there wasn't much else to buy.

Today we threw a discus in P.E. I was alright at it and threw 15m. Here is my result card so far.

18th Feburary High jump
We learned how to do the Fosbury flop. To do the Fosbury flop you run at an angle at a high jump mat and jump off 1 leg turn around then put your arms and legs in the air and land on your back.
Thats how to do the Fosbury flop.

21st Feburary long jump
We did long jump today. I ran 3 times and my high score was 2.85m
How to do long jump.
1 Run up is 21 steps.
2 Take off will be from the second marker.
3 Land will be measured from the back foot.
4 Land with both feet together.
5 If you are over the second marker when you jump it is a fowl jump.

25th Feburary 100m sprints.
Sprints are pretty simple. Sprint from a starting point time it and your time is when you ran over the finish line.

3rd March long distance results.
When doing long distance one thing to really remeber is to breath and look up not down. Also run past the finish so you keep your momentum and sprint the last bit. My time for 1500m was 3 minutes 51 seconds.

Christmas in my family

At Christmas time me and my family do a lot of things. One of those things is going to my aunties house for a christmas lunch. Here is a link to a piktochart about it.

We also go away sometimes to Reefton. Reefton is a small town in the south island. Reefton is known as the city of light as it was the first town in the New Zealand to have electrical lights in 1888.

Small person Big problem

Today Miss Birtch showed us how to write a good 4 paragraph story.

Plummeting below the rocks cracked and the trees blew. To the left of my vision was a clear sky making glistening water below. When I looked down the water was shining while being moved by human inventions. I felt my thin amount of hair blow than I heard my full name "Martin the mischievous mouse".

I turned around and started walking with my tail following I went further and further into my abode. 

My mother had given me these brown comfortable boots. My mother made me go to work as the local cheese taster for the cheese factory. I did that and then had to get some water from the dreaful world above me.

I finished my cheese tasting and then had to try not to get killed getting water. I had to take 3 bottles and fill them up at the water fountain above our house. I grabbed the bottles and slowly made my way toward it then I heard the sound of something big and scary. A really big scooter almost hit me when I was crossing the road. I dreaded the next 2 roads I had to cross but dreaded coming back with 3 heavy bottles of water.

I took all three bottles of water across the first 2 with ease. I then had to get the 3 bottles across the final street. The first bottle I got across safely and the second I got across safely. I almost got stepped on when getting to the third bottle but I did. I grabbed the last bottle of water and started moving but I looked to my right and then...
